Class of 1976 50th Reunion: May 21 – 24, 2026

Registration with Housing runs from March 9 through May 5.
A link to Registration and more information about reunion can be found here. Late registrations for housing will not be accepted. However, onsite registration IS available for those who come for the day. If you need to cancel your registration, you will receive a full refund minus a 3% processing fee provided that you notify us in writing by 11:59 pm EDT on May 5. After that, you will not receive a refund for any reason (including COVID-19) for cancellations or changes to your registration or on-campus housing arrangements.

Thursday, May 21

12 noon – Reunion sign-in opens in Mary Woolley Hall, New York Room
Dorm keys and room assignments; welcome gifts and your Class Booklet will be provided.
2:30 – 3:00 pm – Class of ’76 rehearsal for the Welcome Ceremony
Buckland Hall, Living Room
3:00 – 5 pm – Welcome Ceremony followed by “Berries and Bubbly” reception for New Alums (Class of 2026) – Blanchard Campus Center, 2nd floor
In this new tradition at MHC, the 50th Reunion class presents a class scarf to the graduating seniors, officially welcoming them to the alum community.
5:30 – 7 pm – Dinner at the Community Center Dining Commons 
7 – 8:30 pm – Ghost Walk
Meet at the Dining Commons Entrance.
Learn about the intriguing ghost stories swirling around the campus in a tour led by Deboral Richards, Director of Archives & Special Collections.
9 pm – M & Cs in Buckland Hall, Living Room,

Friday, May 22

9 am – 9 pm – Registration at Mary Woolley Hall, New York Room
6:30 – 9 am – Breakfast Buffet at the Community Center Dining Commons
10 am – 11:30 – Campus Tour for the Class of ’76
Meet outside Buckland Hall
Student admission guides will lead a campus tour focusing on the Fimbel Maker Space and other changes to campus. Golf carts will be available for those who need them.
10:30 am – Golf at The Orchards (arrive at 9:45 for warm-up if you wish)

Throughout the day – at-homes, tours, presentations, receptions, nibbles and concerts
11:30 – 2:30 pm – Community Lunch at the Community Center Dining Commons
2:30 – 3:30 pm – “State of the College” address by President Holley

3:45 – 4:45 pm – Art Museum Presentation by Tricia Paik

All alums are invited to learn how one of the oldest college art museums in the country is reimagining itself for today’s students and the future
5 – 6 pm – Commencement Shabbat
Shattuck Hall, Cassini Lounge. Open to all alums.
5:30 – 6:30 pm – Class of ’76 Social Hour
On the patio of the Art Museum
6:30 – 8:00 pm – Class of ’76 Dinner
At Willits-Hallowell. Hosted by the AA and the Development Office.
8:00 – 10:00 pm – M&Cs Celebration under the Big Tent
Skinner Green.
A new campus-wide tradition welcoming graduating seniors and all alums
8 – 9 pm – Cornerstone Society and Mary Lyon Reception (by invitation only)
President’s House.
9 pm – PJs and DJs: The Sounds of the ’70s!

1:30 pm – Class of ’76 Photo
Skinner steps (rain location: Pratt Music Hall)
2:30 – 4 pm – Class of ’76 Meeting and Election of new class officers
followed by the Class of ’76 Memorial Ceremony
A remembrance rose will be placed in a central vase as the names of our deceased classmates are read
5:30 pm- 6:30 pm – Class of ’76 Social Hour with President Holley
Hosted by the President’s Office on the patio of Rooke Theatre
6:30 – 9 pm – Class of ’76 Banquet in Chapin Auditorium
“Reconnect, Reminisce and Rejoice” Featuring a slideshow, remarks and music of our college years.
9:30 pm – M + Cs in the Dorm
9:30 pm – Canoe Sing

Sunday, May 24

8:00 – 9:00 am – Yoga
Abbey Hall living room. Robbie Roll will lead a morning yoga practice
8:00 am – Bird Walk
Gather in Buckland Living Room. Enjoy the peaceful birdsong around Upper Lake.
7:00 – 10:00 – Sunday Brunch

There will be four package options to select from when registering. Packages cannot be pro-rated. A registration selection will be required for each alum and their guest(s) in order to complete registration.
Things to note:
*Packages are all inclusive:  meals and events, and include the class Booklet as well as the class Parade costume and various hospitality offerings.
*Accommodations on campus – dorms – are charged separately at $50/person/night.
