Class of 1976 50th Reunion: May 21 – 24, 2026

Registration with Housing is now closed.
A link to Registration and more information about reunion can be found here. Late registrations for housing will not be accepted. However, onsite registration IS available for those who come for the day. If you need to cancel your registration, you will receive a full refund minus a 3% processing fee provided that you notify us in writing by 11:59 pm EDT on May 5. After that, you will not receive a refund for any reason (including COVID-19) for cancellations or changes to your registration or on-campus housing arrangements.

Thursday, May 21

12 noon – 8pm Registration and Arrival sign-in, Mary Woolley Hall, New York Room for Dorm keys and room assignments.
Please go to Buckland for your welcome gifts and your Class Book. Please look for signs to indicate hours we are ‘open’ to distribute the Book.

2:30 pm – Class of ’76 rehearsal for the Welcome Ceremony
Buckland Hall, Living Room
3:30 – 5 pm – Welcome Ceremony followed by “Berries and Bubbly” reception for New Alums (Class of 2026) – Chapin Auditorium
In this new tradition at MHC, the 50th Reunion class presents a class scarf to the graduating seniors, officially welcoming them to the alum community.
5:30 – 7 pm – Class of 1976 Thursday Dinner in the Beacon Room at the Community Center Dining Commons 
7 – 8:30 pm – Ghost Walk
Meet in the basement of Dwight Hall.
Learn about the intriguing ghost stories swirling around the campus in a tour led by Deborah Richards, Director of Archives & Special Collections.
9 pm – M & Cs in Buckland Hall, Living Room,

Friday, May 22

6:30 – 9 am – Breakfast Buffet at the Community Center Dining Commons
9 am – 10:30 am: Self-Defense with Barbara Arrighi, Former MHC Deputy Chief of Security, Kendall Sports and Dance Complex, Dance Studio 2
10 am – 11:30 – Campus Tour for the Class of ’76
Meet outside Buckland Hall, Main entrance
Student admission guides will lead a campus tour focusing on the Fimbel Maker Space and other changes to campus. Golf carts will be available for those who need them.
10:30 am – Golf at The Orchards (arrive at 9:45 for warm-up if you wish)

All alums are invited to learn how one of the oldest college art museums in the country is reimagining itself for today’s students and the future ahead of its 150th anniversary this fall.

At Willits-Hallowell. Morrison/ Andreola Rooms Hosted by the AA and the Development Office.
8:00 – 10:00 pm – All-Campus Fireside M&Cs Celebration
Join us at the fire pit for a special Fireside M&Cs! Enjoy our beloved tradition against the backdrop of a stunning Lower Lake sunset. You’ll also have a front-row spot for the Class of 2026’s Canoe Sing. Find us next to Pratt Hall, right along the shore of Lower Lake.
8 – 9 pm – Cornerstone Society and Mary Lyon Reception (by invitation only)

The meeting agenda will include a vote on the proposed governance structure and election of new class officers. During the ceremony that follows, a remembrance rose will be placed in a central vase as the names of our deceased classmates are read
